About Us

As a team, we make it our job to be expert evaluators and clear communicators. But for each of us, it's more than just a job: it's a profession that we love. This attitude shows in our diligence, dedication, and attention to detail. Like the way we take time to gather facts accurately, explain things thoroughly, and handle people gently. And the way we keep growing in our own knowledge of dentistry. That's how we carry out the vision of providing you with comprehensive dental care, applying solid knowledge to serve real people.

Dr. Bill Knox

Dr. William Knox has been practicing comprehensive dentistry since 1968, when he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. His early years and education required living at first in Dallas (the place his parents made him grow up), then in Denton (where he graduated from UNT) and then in Houston (for Dental School). It was then that he moved to Fort Worth to set up practice. Over the past 30 or so years, he has focused his continuing education studies on gum disease, restorative dentistry, the proper function of the bite and it's effect on the long term retention of teeth and, most recently, on the smile and it's dynamic effect on an individual's sense of well being-including all the complex factors involved in understanding the biomechanics of the craniofacial complex.

Dr. Knox is also a founding member of Fort Worth's oldest dental study club. In fact, he meets regularly with the same 10 professionals that started the club 26 years ago. The club provides a lively forum for investigation and discussion of the latest findings in dentistry, with the members keeping each other well honed and up to date on current topics in the field.

Our Team

Pat, Business Manager

Although she was born and raised in Lexington, Missouri, we almost consider Pat a Texan because she's lived here over 20 years. In fact, she's been in the field of dentistry that entire time, and we've been fortunate enough to have her with us for the last 16 of those years. Her length of experience alone makes her fantastic at managing the details of our business, including our insurance and marketing coordination. Plus, she consistently attends courses in her areas of specialty to keep up with the latest trends that might affect our business. But on top of her expertise, she is just a great person to have around. Pat simply likes working with people, and especially enjoys witnessing first hand the exciting changes that cosmetic dentistry brings about for our patients. When she's not helping us run things, she likes to garden and travel. She and her husband, Bert, enjoy spending time with their 3 daughters and 6 grandchildren.

Tammi, Hygiene Coordinator

We keep our hygienists and assistants so busy tending to our patients' needs that we've had to bring on a full-time staff person just to coordinate the administrative details of this part of the practice. Our expert Hygiene Coordinator, Tammi, has worked with us now for three years, answering the phone, handling hygiene patient check-outs, scheduling appointments, and reminding patients of their appointments. It's no wonder that she's so good at the juggling act she does for us: she's also a mother to three daughters… which means that her off-work schedule also has to include things like attending cheerleading, basketball, track and soccer events, and lots of time shopping at the mall. Not to mention her favorite hobby playing and spending all the time she can with Caden, her two-year-old grandson.

K. J., Dental Assistant

Originally from Dalhart, Texas, K.J. moved to the Fort Worth in 1990. She's been a dental assistant for 22 years, and has enjoyed every minute of it. She considers it her primary responsibility to get to know patients, find out what they're all about, and then make them comfortable in the somewhat stressful situation of being at the dentist office. And on top of her 'people' expertise, she keeps herself in tip-top professional shape as well, attending a variety of continuing education courses each year. Even though we consider her part of our practice 'family', she does enjoy spending time with her 'real' family: husband Doug, daughter Randee Brooke, grandson Brayden Lane, and spoiled Boston Terrier, Justin. For fun, she enjoys four-wheeling with family and friends at Ouray, Colorado.

Lesa, Hygienist

Our hygienist, Lesa, has been with us for 2 years. She attended Angelo State University, University of Texas at San Antonio. She then went on to Big Spring to attend the dental hygiene program at Howard College where she earned her Associated Degree in Dental Hygiene. She began her hygiene career in San Angelo. She and her husband Tommy later transferred to Weatherford where she soon found her place in our office. Lesa feels her most important role is to educate our patients on the link between good oral health and good overall health. During her free time, Lesa loves to spend time with her husband, their two dogs and the rest of her family. Her hobbies include fishing, gardening, golfing and reading.
